Private · Members only

You're in four group chats.
None of them have a calendar.

Villagely fixes the part WhatsApp gets wrong: a shared calendar, RSVPs, and a group only the families you've actually met can join. No feed. No ads. No strangers.

See it in action

One private home. Zero noise.

No more four group chats, a spreadsheet, and a "who's coming?" text thread. Just the plan, the people, and the calendar.

What it actually does

Everything WhatsApp couldn't be bothered to build.

Nine things that replace the group-chat chaos — gated so only your families ever see them.

One calendar, every family

The thing WhatsApp never added. RSVP in a tap, see who's coming, and get a day-before reminder so Saturday doesn't sneak up on you.

Private chat, zero noise

Coordinate the carpool without spinning up yet another WhatsApp group nobody mutes.

Meet the whole family

Every parent and kid, with names, ages and faces — not Instagram handles. You know exactly who you're meeting at the park.

Your group stays your group

QR invites, admin approval, members-only. There's no public feed, page, or profile — ever.

Share the moment, not your life

A group-only feed with reactions and comments — no public algorithm deciding who sees it.

Weekly activity ideas, curated

Real local classes and events for ages 3–7, refreshed by AI every Sunday. No sponsored results — just what's actually good near you.

Decide together in 30 seconds

Vote before ("which beach?"). Rate after ("10/10, bringing snacks"). Your group builds its own playbook.

Can't make it? Watch live

Go Live opens a free video room on the event page — members watch and chat in real time.

Get credit for showing up

Track attendance, earn badges and top the leaderboard — it keeps the group motivated.

Your group stays your group.

  • Invite-only — no strangers can join your group
  • No ads, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics
  • Phone numbers and emails hidden from other members
  • Family photos never shown on any public page
  • Delete your account yourself — it takes effect immediately
  • No personally identifiable info sent to AI models
How it works

Up and running in three steps

1

Scan in

Scan the group's QR poster or accept an invite — you're in within seconds. The organizer? Create your group free.

2

Add your family

Names, ages, faces — so the group knows who they're meeting and the activity ideas actually fit your kids.

3

Post, RSVP, show up

Create the event, watch RSVPs come in, get a reminder the day before. Then go to the park. That's genuinely it.

Powered by AI

Your personal activity scout — powered by AI

Find, plan and share kids' activities near you. Every week, automatically.

Discover what's near you

Every Sunday, AI scans Greater Vancouver for real classes, clubs and events for young kids (curated to ages 3–7 today) — no paid listings.

Claude searches parks boards, rec centres and community sites → filters to the group's age range → caches the list so everyone sees the same fresh picks.

Create events from a sentence

Coming soon: type "beach day Saturday noon for the 4-7s" and the app builds the event, picks the best beach by forecast, and sends RSVPs.

Natural-language planning — the app does the scheduling, venue pick and invites so you don't have to.

Coordinate without exposing your family

Sort the carpool in your group's private chat — phone numbers and emails stay hidden from other members the whole time.

Your group messages, RSVPs and member lists are never sent to any AI system. Only public activity data is.

Questions

Everything parents ask us

Privacy & Security
Who can see my family's information?

Signed-in members only — nothing is visible to the public internet. Your family profile (names, kids' ages, photos) appears in the members' directory, and your RSVPs are visible to your group. Email, phone number, and home area stay hidden until you approve a member's request to see them.

Is this connected to Facebook, WhatsApp or any social network?

No. Zero connection to any social platform. We don't import contacts, don't read your feeds, and never share data with advertisers. Your account is completely standalone.

What happens to our data if we stop using the app?

Delete your account from the app's profile screen, or email us and we'll do it for you. We don't archive or resell deactivated accounts. Exactly what deletion covers is documented on our Transparency page.

AI Features
What does the AI actually do?

It scans publicly available local sources every Sunday — parks boards, community centres, recreation programs — and surfaces kids' activities (curated to ages 3–7 today). It never accesses your private data.

Does the AI see our private group conversations?

No. The AI only processes public Vancouver activity data to generate discovery results. Your group messages, RSVPs, member lists and family profiles are never sent to any AI system.

Getting Started
Do I need to download an app?

No download required — it runs in your browser and can be added to your home screen so it behaves like a native app, push notifications included. iOS and Android store versions are coming later this year.

How do I invite other parents?

Share the group's QR code or send an email invite — both auto-join. Parents who find a public group listing can only request to join, and a group admin has to approve them. Nobody gets into your group without a scan, an invite, or the admin saying yes.

Is it free?

Joining is free, forever. The Leader plan — for the parent who runs the group: unlimited groups and events, activity templates, on-demand AI scans — is $2.99/month. See pricing →

Your Saturday playdate shouldn't require a group-chat negotiation.

Free to join. Works in your browser today — no app store required.
